Introducing the first issue of MD News in Nebraska. A few months ago, my friend and MD News publisher Brian asked me be his photographer for the magazine. I JOYFULLY said OF COURSE! Here are the results of the first issue!

The cover story features Dr. Maly of Lincoln, a pioneer in operative robotics. He is well known for his OB practice but is increasingly interested and knowledgeable in the topic of preventing and treating women's cancers.

Nyla just turned 1 on May Day! These are images from her birthday session. Big sister Karly and Nyla have been special clients here since Karly was born. They're only 15 months apart so I love seeing these two grow up together.

JEREMY & LINDSEY SAY I DO, HUSKER STYLE!

Where do I begin with this one? This wedding was quite an event beginning with the decor. Lindsey is a florist in Chicago so naturally, she designed all the arrangements, the bouquets, and the decorations. I was in awe! It was breathtaking to say the least.

Since they are Nebraska alumni, die-hard Husker fans, and they live miles and miles away in Chicago, it was very important to them that we capture their husker spirit! After taking pictures in front of Memorial Stadium, we were lucky enough to get some great shots on the field!

Happy honeymoon, you two! Thanks for the good times!

YEAY FOR ASHLEY

Ashley (our graphic designer) is officially done with school and is now a college graduate! Welcome to the real world, Ashley! We've been so fortunate to have you on staff and wish you all the luck in the world!

We had a mini celebration at the studio today...

STEVE & SARA FINALLY TIE THE KNOT!

Steve and Sara are friends from our college days. Saturday was the rainiest days yet this year. It litterally rained ALL DAY LONG! But these guys and the wedding party didn't care one bit, as you can tell! We got some amazing images in Omaha's Old Market and at a bar called Nomad (which is the coolest bar ever, by the way). Nomad features art by local artisit and private cabana style lounging. You can even have a reception there!

Anyway, back to Steve and Sara. These two have been together forever and according to the best-men speaches, it was about time they tied the knot! Congratulations you two and thanks for letting us share in your special day!

My friend Megan worked with me on this wedding. We tried some new techniques with flash that turned out pretty sweet! Check it out...

ADAM & MIKALA GET HITCHED

Congratulations to Adam and Mikala who were married last weekend. Temps were in the 70s and not a cloud in the sky. It was a little windy...okay, a lot windy but other than that, it was the perfect May wedding day!

The Omaha band, On The Fritz played at their reception and rocked the house!

KENSIE RYANN

This is also a new Bebe! Kensie has the cutest little button nose. She's such a good baby. Mom says she only wakes up 2 times during the night. What an angel!

WILL

Meet the newest member of our Bebe program. This is Will. Will was born about 5 weeks early and had to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks. He and mom are doing quite well now.

Wills mom Jessica is quite the artist!
